Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Packer to join our dynamic team in Humble, TX. This entry-level position is crucial for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality before being dispatched to customers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for inspecting, verifying, and carefully packaging a wide variety of items, playing a key role in customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies according to established quality standards.
- Accurately pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring proper protection and presentation for shipment.
- Verify product quantities, SKUs, and labels against order documentation.
- Operate basic packaging equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Report any quality issues, discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and quality targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to quality control and packing operations.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions and product specifications in English.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 49 pounds regularly.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
