Job Description
Join the Baskin-Robbins team as a seasonal Ice Cream Server! We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to help us scoop smiles this season. No prior experience is necessary – we’ll provide all the training you need to become an expert scooper and customer service star. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting ice cream flavors and treats.
- Accurately scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and other dessert items.
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash, and process credit card transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, dining area, and restrooms.
- Restock ingredients, toppings, cones, and other supplies as needed.
- Prepare waffle cones, sundaes, and other specialty items according to recipes.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for every guest.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- A valid California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
