Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients, often on beds, trolleys, or in wheelchairs, to and from wards, departments, and operating theatres.
- Move medical equipment, samples, specimens, and patient notes between various hospital areas.
- Collect and deliver mail, pharmacy items, and linen.
- Assist with the movement of supplies, including oxygen cylinders, waste, and confidential materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in designated areas and ensure equipment is stored appropriately.
- Communicate effectively and with empathy to patients, visitors, and staff members.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
- Participate actively in all aspects of the apprenticeship training programme.

- Physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding tasks and prolonged periods of standing/walking.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or care-giving role (voluntary or paid).
