Job Description
Are you a responsible and enthusiastic 15-year-old with a passion for pets? PetSmart in Southlands, Aurora, CO is looking for a dedicated Grooming Assistant to join our friendly team! This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn about pet care, grooming, and customer service in a supportive environment. You will work closely with experienced groomers, assisting with various tasks to ensure our furry clients are happy, healthy, and looking their best. Key Responsibilities
- Assist professional groomers with bathing, drying, and brushing dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming salon, including washing towels, sanitizing tools, and tidying up work areas.
- Help ensure the safety and comfort of pets during their grooming experience.
- Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns to the groomer.
- Greet pet parents warmly and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
- Learn and adhere to all PetSmart safety and animal handling policies.
- Support the team with general salon duties as needed.
Required Skills

- Must be 15 years old and have valid work authorization for minors.
