Job Description

Deluxe Entertainment Services Group is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Subtitle Editor Trainee. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to learn the essential skills of subtitling and captioning, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for diverse audiences worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training on subtitling software and industry best practices.
- Learn to create and edit subtitles for various film and television content.
- Develop skills in accurately synchronizing subtitles with audio and video.
- Understand and apply client-specific guidelines and style guides.
- Proofread and quality-check subtitles for grammatical errors, spelling, and consistency.
- Collaborate with senior editors and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Continuously improve your linguistic and technical skills through feedback and self-study.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
- Excellent listening skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer usage and willingness to learn new software quickly.
