Job Description

Join McKesson Corporation as a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Hand, specializing in temperature-controlled environments. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, ensuring strict adherence to temperature requirements. Your work will directly contribute to the integrity of our medical supply chain and ultimately, patient safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming pharmaceutical shipments, verifying quantities and product integrity.
  • Store products in designated temperature-controlled environments (e.g., refrigerated, ambient) according to established protocols.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging to maintain temperature stability.
  • Monitor and document temperature logs for storage areas and outbound shipments as required.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report any product damage, temperature excursions, or safety concerns immediately to supervision.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills for counting and inventory verification.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Understanding of the importance of temperature control in pharmaceutical handling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Experience handling temperature-sensitive products.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
