Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Dietary Supplement Manufacturing Operative to join our team in Concord, NC. In this critical role, you will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes for dietary supplements within a controlled clean room environment, ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining sterile conditions to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment in a clean room setting for dietary supplement production, including blending, encapsulation, compression, and coating machines.
  • Perform routine setup, calibration, and cleaning of equipment according to SOPs.
  • Follow strict clean room protocols, including gowning procedures, aseptic techniques, and contamination control measures.
  • Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and other documentation, ensuring all steps are recorded in real-time and comply with GMP requirements.
  • Conduct in-process checks and quality control activities to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Report any deviations, malfunctions, or quality issues promptly to supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Participate in training sessions for new procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Handle raw materials and finished products according to established procedures, including weighing, measuring, and transferring materials.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in executing tasks.
  • Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clean room environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (1+ years) in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in food, pharmaceutical, or dietary supplement industries.
  • Experience working in a clean room or sterile environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting equipment.
