Job Description
Are you an active individual who enjoys working outdoors and ensuring order and efficiency? Smith’s Food & Drug is seeking a diligent Supermarket Trolley Auditor to join our team in Sandy, Utah. This role is crucial for maintaining the availability and proper placement of shopping trolleys across our premises. You will spend your days actively moving around the store property, both inside and outside, collecting, organizing, and sanitizing trolleys. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a physically active role and takes pride in contributing to a clean and organized customer experience. No two days are the same, and your efforts directly impact our customers’ satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and collect shopping trolleys from various points across the store parking lot and surrounding areas.
- Return trolleys to designated collection points or store entrances in an orderly fashion.
- Inspect trolleys for damage and report any issues to management.
- Sanitize trolley handles and common touchpoints regularly to ensure customer safety and hygiene.
- Assist with other general store maintenance tasks as needed, such as light cleanup of outdoor areas.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor towards customers while performing duties.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, especially when working in the parking lot or near traffic.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to walk, push, and lift for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
