Job Description
Join CenterWell Home Health as a Caregiver in Lexington, Kentucky, and receive a special sign-on bonus for new hires this month! We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes. This role is perfect for those who are empathetic, reliable, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for others. As a Caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. This is an on-site position requiring travel to client residences within the Lexington area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team regarding observations and changes in client condition.
- Accompany clients to appointments or run errands as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role or related healthcare field (e.g., CNA, HHA).
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
