Job Description
Join AECOM’s dynamic team as a Climate Analysis Data Entry specialist, playing a crucial role in our digital research initiatives focused on environmental sustainability and climate impact. This position involves meticulous data entry, organization, and preliminary analysis of complex climate-related datasets. You will support our research teams by ensuring data integrity, preparing data for advanced modeling, and contributing to projects that inform critical environmental strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update climate-related data into various databases and systems.
- Perform routine data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and categorize large volumes of digital information, including scientific reports, sensor data, and meteorological records.
- Assist in preparing data visualizations and preliminary summaries for research reports.
- Collaborate with climate scientists and digital research specialists to understand data requirements and project goals.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols.
- Identify and report data inconsistencies or errors for resolution.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and database management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of environmental or scientific data concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
