Job Description

Join AECOM’s dynamic team as a Climate Analysis Data Entry specialist, playing a crucial role in our digital research initiatives focused on environmental sustainability and climate impact. This position involves meticulous data entry, organization, and preliminary analysis of complex climate-related datasets. You will support our research teams by ensuring data integrity, preparing data for advanced modeling, and contributing to projects that inform critical environmental strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update climate-related data into various databases and systems.
  • Perform routine data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and categorize large volumes of digital information, including scientific reports, sensor data, and meteorological records.
  • Assist in preparing data visualizations and preliminary summaries for research reports.
  • Collaborate with climate scientists and digital research specialists to understand data requirements and project goals.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols.
  • Identify and report data inconsistencies or errors for resolution.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data entry and database management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of environmental or scientific data concepts.
