Job Description

Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Bethesda Softworks is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior Quality Control Tester to join our team in Fort Worth. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive test plans across console and PC platforms to identify software defects.
  • Document and report bugs clearly and concisely in our bug tracking system.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved without introducing new problems.
  • Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, usability, and overall player experience.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, producers, and fellow QA testers.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of game features, design changes, and testing tools.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using console and PC gaming hardware.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (e.g., black-box testing).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various genres.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
