Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Bethesda Softworks is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior Quality Control Tester to join our team in Fort Worth. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in the gaming industry, focusing on ensuring our console and PC titles meet the highest standards of quality before release. You will play a crucial role in identifying bugs, documenting issues, and contributing to the overall player experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans across console and PC platforms to identify software defects.
- Document and report bugs clearly and concisely in our bug tracking system.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved without introducing new problems.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, usability, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, producers, and fellow QA testers.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of game features, design changes, and testing tools.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using console and PC gaming hardware.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (e.g., black-box testing).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various genres.

- Prior experience with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
