Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as an End of Day Cleanup Trash Collector for the Lakeshore Flea Market. This critical role ensures that our market premises are spotless and ready for the next day of operation or event. If you are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are available for evening shifts, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of all trash, litter, and discarded items from vendor stalls, common areas, and parking lots.
- Empty and clean all waste receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Sort recyclable materials from general waste according to local regulations.
- Sweep and mop designated areas to ensure cleanliness.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or significant damages observed during cleanup.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly before market closing.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of waste sorting and recycling practices.
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts as required by market operating hours.
