Job Description
Are you passionate about interior design and eager to contribute to the future of AI in home decor? Walmart Global Tech is seeking a detail-oriented Interior Design Annotator to join our innovative team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in training advanced machine learning models by meticulously categorizing and labeling interior design images and data. As an Interior Design Annotator, you will apply your keen eye for detail and understanding of design aesthetics to ensure the accuracy and quality of our datasets. Your work will directly impact the development of AI-powered tools that help millions of customers visualize, plan, and purchase home decor items, making design accessible and personalized for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately annotate and categorize a diverse range of interior design images and associated data, identifying key elements such as furniture types, room styles, color palettes, and material textures.
- Apply established guidelines consistently to ensure high data quality and uniformity across all annotations.
- Provide constructive feedback on annotation guidelines and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to understand project requirements and refine annotation strategies.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and meet daily/weekly annotation targets.
- Perform quality checks on annotated data to identify and correct errors.
Required Skills
- Strong, demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of interior design principles, styles, and terminology.
- Proficiency in using annotation tools or a strong ability to quickly learn new software and platforms.
- Excellent visual perception and the ability to differentiate subtle design nuances.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate observations clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in image annotation, data labeling, or data entry, particularly in a visual or design-related field.
- Familiarity with fundamental AI and machine learning concepts.
- Coursework or a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Art History, Graphic Design, or a related creative field.
- Experience working with large visual datasets.
