Job Description
Are you passionate about user experience and eager to shape the future of digital services from the comfort of your home? UserTesting is seeking dedicated Virtual Subscription Evaluators to join our remote team. In this role, you will meticulously test and evaluate new subscription-based products and services across various platforms, providing detailed, constructive feedback that directly influences product development and user satisfaction. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technologies and help major brands refine their offerings before they launch to the public. This position is 100% remote and requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in how people interact with technology. You’ll play a crucial role in improving user interfaces, identifying potential issues, and ensuring a seamless experience for end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned test plans for new digital subscription services, applications, and websites.
- Provide clear, articulate, and actionable written and verbal feedback on user experience, functionality, and overall satisfaction.
- Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in service design and usability.
- Document findings accurately and thoroughly using provided tools and methodologies.
- Participate in occasional remote team meetings and calibration sessions.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines regarding unreleased products and services.
- Maintain a stable internet connection and a quiet home office environment conducive to testing.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with common operating systems (Windows/macOS) and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a personal computer/laptop.
- High degree of attention to detail and a user-centric mindset.
- Experience with subscription services (streaming, software, gaming, etc.) as a consumer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in user testing, QA, or product evaluation.
- Familiarity with various digital platforms and technologies.
- A degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
