Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Vertical Farm Pickers. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about sustainable agriculture and eager to contribute to the future of food. As a Vertical Farm Picker, you will be responsible for the careful harvesting, packing, and quality control of our diverse range of produce within our state-of-the-art indoor farm environment. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Harvesting a variety of crops according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Carefully inspecting produce for quality, freshness, and adherence to specifications.
  • Accurately packaging harvested produce for distribution.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Assisting with plant care tasks such as pruning, thinning, and monitoring crop health.
  • Operating basic farm equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
  • Adhering to all company safety regulations and food safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a controlled indoor environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 15 kg).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles (training provided).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or agricultural setting.
  • Knowledge of plant care or horticulture.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
