Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn refinery inspection techniques and quality control protocols.
- Assist senior inspectors in conducting visual inspections of refinery equipment, pipelines, and storage tanks.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Document inspection findings accurately and prepare detailed reports.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies diligently during on-site inspections.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
- Identify potential non-conformities and report them promptly to senior staff.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and observation abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite)
- Commitment to safety and adherence to strict protocols
- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions (e.g., climbing, lifting, walking).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of basic quality control principles
- Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods is a plus (training will be provided).
