Job Description
Join the Delta Airlines team as a Meet and Greet Driver at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our valued arriving passengers, providing a warm welcome, assisting with luggage, and ensuring their comfortable and timely transfer from the terminal to their designated ground transportation. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to punctuality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet arriving passengers with a friendly and professional demeanor at designated terminal arrival gates or baggage claim areas.
- Assist passengers with luggage, ensuring safe handling and loading into vehicles.
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers to their onward ground transportation (e.g., rental car pick-up, parking, designated shuttle areas).
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained company vehicle.
- Monitor flight arrival schedules and adjust pickup times as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other ground operations staff.
- Adhere to all airport regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
- Provide information and assistance to passengers regarding airport services or local area as requested.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to customer service and passenger satisfaction.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Familiarity with Buffalo Niagara International Airport layout (preferred but not required for hire).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or driving role.
- Knowledge of multiple languages.
- Experience operating various types of vehicles.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
