Job Description
Are you a charismatic individual with a knack for entertainment and a friendly demeanor? Casino Nova Scotia Halifax is seeking an enthusiastic Bingo Hall Caller & Floor Staff member to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will be the voice of our bingo games, engaging players with clear calls and a lively presence, while also providing excellent customer service on the bingo floor. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct bingo games with enthusiasm and clarity, announcing numbers in a clear and engaging manner.
- Maintain an exciting and fair playing environment for all guests.
- Assist guests on the bingo floor with game rules, card purchases, and prize claims.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve guest inquiries and issues promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience.
- Ensure the bingo area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons, encouraging repeat visits.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bingo hall.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy entertainment environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for prize calculation and cash handling.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the bingo floor.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, entertainment, or a similar public-facing role.
- Familiarity with bingo game rules and procedures.
- A natural talent for entertaining and engaging an audience.
- Experience handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
