Job Description

Sainsbury’s in St Ives is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Promotional Samplers to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic retail environment and enjoy weekend work, interacting directly with customers and showcasing our latest offerings. You’ll be the face of our in-store promotions, encouraging customers to try new items and enhancing their shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage enthusiastically with customers, offering samples of new and exciting products.
- Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and special offers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sampling station.
- Provide positive and memorable customer interactions, encouraging trial and purchase.
- Monitor sample inventory and report any issues to store management.
- Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Collect basic customer feedback on sampled products when requested.
- Represent Sainsbury's brand values with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
