Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable High School students for a Part-time Merchandiser position, focused on weekend light manual tasks. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain valuable retail experience, manage their schedule around school, and contribute to a leading grocery chain. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing, enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. This is a hands-on position involving light lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves with new merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and product freshness.
- Arranging and organizing product displays to maintain an attractive and orderly sales floor.
- Assisting with inventory management, including checking stock levels and identifying replenishment needs.
- Ensuring accurate product pricing and signage.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of assigned aisles and display areas.
- Following all company guidelines and safety procedures.
- Collaborating with store team members to achieve sales and operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform light manual tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, and standing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be enrolled in high school or equivalent educational program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is a plus, but not required.
