Job Description
Are you a teen passionate about Pinterest and social media trends? Canva is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented teens to join our remote team to help curate content and identify emerging trends specifically relevant to a younger audience on Pinterest. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in digital media, content curation, and social media management, all from the comfort and safety of your own home. You’ll contribute to making our platform and content even more engaging and relevant for users your age.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and organize visually appealing Pinterest boards following brand guidelines.
- Identify and report on trending topics, aesthetics, and content formats popular among teens on Pinterest and other social platforms.
- Assist in tagging and categorizing content to improve discoverability.
- Ensure all curated content aligns with safety standards and community guidelines.
- Provide valuable feedback on user experience and content preferences for a teen demographic.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute ideas for content strategy.
- Conduct simple research tasks related to youth culture and digital media consumption.
Required Skills
- Ages 13-19 (with parental/guardian consent if legally required for employment of minors).
- Strong familiarity and active engagement with Pinterest and other social media platforms.
- Excellent understanding of current teen trends, pop culture, and digital aesthetics.
