Job Description
UPS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Aide to join our Wellness Center team in Henderson, NV. In this vital role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support, ensuring the smooth functioning of our employee wellness programs and services. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our employees, assisting with various health-related initiatives, and maintaining confidential records. Key Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling for wellness center appointments, consultations, and programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records and databases in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Assist wellness staff with the preparation and execution of health screenings, workshops, and wellness events.
- Greet employees and visitors to the wellness center, providing a positive and supportive first impression.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately.
- Order, stock, and maintain inventory of wellness center supplies and educational materials.
- Prepare reports and presentations related to wellness program participation and outcomes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the wellness center facilities.
- Provide general administrative support to the occupational health team as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented and accurate data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare, wellness, or administrative support role
- Knowledge of medical terminology or HIPAA regulations
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Associate's degree or certification in a healthcare-related field
