Job Description

Sugar Land Family Care is seeking a dedicated and trusted Part-time Babysitter for weekend night work to join our network of professional caregivers. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about childcare, highly responsible, and available to provide exceptional care for children of various ages during evening and overnight hours on weekends. You will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment in the family’s home, following their routines, and ensuring the well-being of the children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and engaged supervision for children, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, reading, and imaginative play.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks as instructed by parents.
  • Follow established bedtime routines, including bathing, stories, and ensuring a comfortable sleep environment.
  • Administer basic first aid if necessary and know when to contact parents or emergency services.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy play area and common spaces used during care.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding their children's activities and well-being.
  • Handle children's personal needs, such as diaper changes and assistance with potty training, as required.

  • At least 6 months of verifiable childcare experience (e.g., nannying, daycare, previous babysitting)
  • CPR and First Aid certification (current or willing to obtain immediately)
  • Non-smoker
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Positive professional references
