Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Battery Assembly Line Laborer to join our manufacturing team in Stockton-on-Tees. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly of battery components and modules, contributing to the production of high-quality energy storage solutions for our advanced rail systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble battery cells, modules, and packs according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks on assembled components to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Operate various assembly tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
  • Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and environmental guidelines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors.
  • Assist with material handling and inventory management as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production flow and meet targets.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and read technical diagrams.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and lift up to 20kg.
