Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Remote Digital Illustrator / Artist to join our global network on a commission-based, work-from-home model. This is an exciting opportunity for creative individuals to contribute to a variety of engaging digital projects, from character design and concept art to editorial illustrations and marketing visuals. You will be responsible for producing high-quality digital artwork that aligns with client briefs and our creative standards, working independently and collaboratively with our art directors as needed. This role offers significant flexibility and the chance to build a diverse portfolio with a leading creative company.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling digital illustrations and artwork based on provided briefs, storyboards, and concepts.
- Utilize various digital art software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint) to produce high-quality visuals.
- Develop unique artistic styles and adapt to existing brand guidelines and aesthetic requirements.
- Iterate on designs and incorporate feedback from art directors and clients efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding project progress and any potential challenges.
- Contribute to concept development and brainstorming sessions for new projects.
- Prepare final artwork files for various digital platforms and print applications, ensuring technical specifications are met.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in digital illustration and painting techniques.
- Expert knowledge of at least one major digital art software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Procreate).
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, anatomy, and perspective.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing diverse digital illustration styles and a strong artistic voice.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, particularly for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with animation principles or motion graphics.
- Familiarity with 3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya) for concept visualization.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or production environment.
- Ability to create work in a variety of styles, from realistic to stylized.
