Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and meticulous individual to join our Fargo team as a Carpet Cleaning Van Restocker. This entry-level position is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring our cleaning vans are fully prepared and stocked with the necessary chemicals and equipment for our technicians. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining inventory, refilling chemical tanks, and thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, especially hoses, to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately restock carpet cleaning vans with all required chemicals, solutions, and supplies daily.
- Refill chemical tanks and ensure proper dilution ratios are met according to company guidelines.
- Thoroughly wash, clean, and sanitize all hoses, wands, and other cleaning equipment after each use.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the chemical storage area and equipment bay.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of chemicals and supplies, reporting shortages to management.
- Assist with basic maintenance and upkeep of cleaning equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, particularly when handling chemicals.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly before vans depart for service calls.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures when handling cleaning agents.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or cleaning role is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
