Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to earn extra income on your own schedule? Ipsos is seeking enthusiastic and observant individuals to join our network of Casual Mystery Shoppers in Preston and the surrounding Lancashire area. This role offers complete flexibility – you choose when and where you work, with no minimum hour requirements. You will be responsible for anonymously evaluating customer service, product quality, and store environments at various businesses, providing valuable feedback that helps our clients improve their operations. No prior experience is necessary; we provide all the training you’ll need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct anonymous visits to assigned retail stores, restaurants, or service providers.
- Observe and evaluate specific aspects of the customer experience, including staff interaction, store cleanliness, product availability, and service efficiency.
- Interact with staff naturally, posing as a regular customer.
- Complete detailed and objective reports online after each visit, accurately documenting your experience.
- Adhere to all project guidelines and timelines.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all assignments and client information.
Required Skills
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Reliable access to a computer and the internet.
- Discretion and the ability to remain anonymous during visits.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- A keen interest in improving customer service standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail.
- Familiarity with various types of retail and service environments.
- Access to reliable transportation for local travel within Preston and Lancashire.
