Job Description
Join our dynamic team at the Sherwood Park Distribution Centre as a Warehouse Picker for weekend AM shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking consistent part-time work with competitive pay. As a Warehouse Picker, you will be crucial in ensuring our stores are stocked and our customers receive their orders promptly. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals who are ready to contribute to a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and efficiently after training.
- Verify quantity, quality, and condition of items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience operating power industrial trucks (e.g., forklift, reach truck).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
