Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable individual to join our manufacturing team as a Paint Can Lid Pounder. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and quality of our paint product packaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for manually securing lids onto paint cans, verifying seals, and contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production line. This is a hands-on, repetitive position that requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually place and secure lids onto various sizes of paint cans using a rubber mallet or similar tool.
- Inspect sealed cans for proper closure, leaks, and damage, ensuring product quality.
- Work efficiently as part of a production line to meet daily output targets.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with other general labor tasks on the production floor as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with industrial packaging processes.
