Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic City Centre Hotel Porter to join our welcoming team at Hilton Manchester Deansgate. As a Porter, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, providing crucial support with luggage, transportation, and general inquiries. Your role is vital in ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and memorable stay for every guest. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a prestigious hotel brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, storage, and retrieval.
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities and services.
- Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including taxis, car rentals, and public transport directions.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, such as delivering newspapers, mail, or special amenities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Provide accurate information about local attractions, restaurants, and events in Manchester.
- Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 25kg).
