Job Description

IBM is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Cloud Infrastructure Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our cloud infrastructure data, ensuring seamless operations and supporting our global IT initiatives. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office in North York, Ontario. You will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and maintaining various types of data crucial to our cloud operations, contributing directly to the efficiency and reliability of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into various cloud infrastructure management systems and databases.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Update and maintain records related to cloud resource allocation, user access, billing, and system configurations.
  • Generate basic reports from cloud data as required by IT operations and management teams.
  • Adhere to strict data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve data-related issues and improve data quality processes.
  • Assist with data migration projects and other administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency with office software, including spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role within an IT environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud resource management tools or ticketing systems.
  • Relevant certifications in data management or cloud fundamentals.
  • A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
