Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided technical training programs, demonstrating a commitment to learning and skill development.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on various types of conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, motors, and sensors.
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues within conveyor systems.
- Execute minor repairs and adjustments to ensure efficient system operation under supervision.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to understand system components and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of tools and their safe operation.
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions and safety manuals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various industrial environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hands-on mechanical or technical role (e.g., automotive repair, assembly, maintenance).
