Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and organised Corporate Receptionist to join our team in Derry/Londonderry. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, offering a high salary for a candidate dedicated to providing outstanding front-of-house services. You will be the face of Danske Bank, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a polished and efficient reception area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual efficiently.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
  • Maintain the tidiness and professional appearance of the reception area and common spaces.
  • Schedule and manage meeting room bookings, ensuring rooms are prepared and refreshments are available.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
  • Manage security access for visitors, issuing passes and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Act as a central point of contact for internal and external queries, providing accurate information.
  • Support office management with various ad-hoc tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a reception, administrative, or customer service role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A professional and welcoming disposition.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Corporate Receptionist in a professional services or financial environment.
