Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry Level Dispatch Runner to join our dynamic warehouse logistics team in Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in logistics and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. As a Dispatch Runner, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate movement of goods and documentation within our warehouse, supporting our dispatch operations. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently collect and deliver documents, packages, and small items within the warehouse and designated local areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as required.
- Verify the accuracy of items being dispatched against manifests or delivery notes.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all deliveries and collections.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors.
- Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed at all times.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any discrepancies or issues promptly to a supervisor.
