Job Description

Are you passionate about sports and possess meticulous attention to detail? Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking a dedicated EA Sports Data Entry specialist with a strong focus on sports statistics. In this remote role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of vast amounts of sports data that power our renowned EA Sports titles. You will be responsible for precise input, verification, and maintenance of player statistics, game results, team records, and other critical sports-related information, contributing directly to the authenticity and player experience of our games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update sports statistics, player profiles, and team data into our internal databases.
  • Verify the accuracy of existing data against official sports sources and identify discrepancies.
  • Categorize and tag data according to established guidelines to ensure proper indexing and retrieval.
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleansing of large datasets, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with game development and quality assurance teams to resolve data-related issues.
  • Stay updated on current sports events, player performances, and rule changes across various leagues and sports.
  • Generate reports on data entry progress and data quality as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with data entry, demonstrating high accuracy and speed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Proficiency in using data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Strong passion for sports and a comprehensive understanding of various sports rules and statistics (e.g., football, basketball, soccer).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
