Job Description
Join the vibrant and creative team at Bachman’s as an Event Decorator Assistant! This is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic individual eager to learn the art and science of floral arrangements and table design. You will work alongside experienced decorators, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown. If you have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to build a career in event decoration, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead decorators with the preparation, setup, and breakdown of event decor, including floral arrangements, centerpieces, linens, and props.
- Learn and practice floral design techniques, including flower conditioning, arranging, and care.
- Help with loading and unloading decor items from the workshop to event venues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the design studio, workshop, and equipment.
- Prepare decor elements such as cleaning vases, pressing linens, and sorting materials.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring all decor elements are perfectly placed and maintained.
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure client vision and aesthetic standards are met.
- Participate in post-event inventory and storage of decor items.
Required Skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or artistic role is a plus.
- Basic understanding of design principles or color theory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
