Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and sort packages, freight, and other materials within the warehouse facility.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers, following established safety protocols.
- Scan packages accurately using handheld devices and update inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and removing debris.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely after proper training.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and meet service commitments.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or package discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance for extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in package handling and scanning.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding role is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with scanning technology or inventory systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
