Job Description
XPO Logistics is seeking dynamic and entrepreneurial Fleet Owner Partners to join our dedicated freight network. This remote support role offers an exceptional opportunity for established fleet owners to leverage our robust infrastructure, technology, and customer base, focusing on dedicated freight lanes. You will be responsible for the profitable and efficient operation of your fleet, providing critical transportation services while benefiting from dedicated support and consistent demand. This is a 100% remote support position, allowing you to manage your operations from anywhere while coordinating with our central teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of your dedicated freight fleet, ensuring on-time delivery and service excellence.
- Recruit, train, and retain qualified drivers, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Implement and maintain efficient dispatching and route optimization strategies.
- Monitor fleet maintenance schedules and performance, minimizing downtime and operational costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide regular performance reports and collaborate with XPO Logistics support teams.
- Foster strong relationships with drivers and ensure a positive working environment.
- Utilize XPO's technology platforms for load management, tracking, and communication.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a fleet owner or in fleet management.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and transportation compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.
- Ability to manage budgets, analyze costs, and optimize profitability.
- Business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with dedicated freight operations.
- Established network of qualified commercial drivers.
- Strong financial management and record-keeping abilities.

- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for personal driving or supervisory understanding.
