Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Fossil Tech to join our dynamic team in Centennial, Colorado. This role offers a unique 4-day work week option, providing an excellent work-life balance while contributing to critical energy infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual with a strong technical aptitude, eager to engage in the operational and technological aspects of our energy projects. You will be responsible for supporting various field and lab activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of equipment and systems, and contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of specialized equipment and instrumentation in field and lab settings.
  • Collect and analyze data, preparing reports and documentation as required for project progress and compliance.
  • Assist engineers and senior technicians in the setup, calibration, and operation of advanced technological tools.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in site assessments, field surveys, and operational support activities, which may involve working outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external contractors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the development of best practices within the technical team.
  • Operate light machinery and vehicles as needed for project tasks and transportation.

Required Skills

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-energy team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field (e.g., Instrumentation, Petroleum Technology, Geology, Engineering Technology).
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems or other industrial control systems.
  • Experience with data acquisition software and analytical tools.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
