Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team, focusing specifically on Pinterest integrations. In this fast-paced startup environment, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust solutions that connect Shopify merchants with the powerful advertising and discovery capabilities of the Pinterest platform. You will work across the entire stack, from building scalable backend APIs to crafting intuitive front-end user experiences. This role requires a developer who is passionate about e-commerce, social media integrations, and driving merchant success through technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on Pinterest API integrations.
- Build and maintain robust backend services using Node.js/Python/Ruby, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Develop interactive and responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Implement and manage data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to a high-quality codebase and fostering continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in social commerce and API integrations.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong command of a backend language (Node.js, Python, Ruby, or similar) and associated frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations (e.g., Pinterest API, Facebook API).
- Solid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience working on e-commerce platforms or with social media advertising tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or agile development environment.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with GraphQL.
