Job Description
We are seeking a Funeral Limousine Driver to join our compassionate team in Aurora, CO. In this incredibly important role, you will be responsible for providing dignified and respectful transportation services for families and clergy during funeral processions and related events. This position requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail, ensuring comfort and punctuality. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate limousines and other company vehicles to transport family members, clergy, and other individuals to and from funeral services, visitations, and committal services.
- Ensure vehicles are impeccably clean, fueled, and well-maintained before and after each use.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles, offering support and sensitivity.
- Follow designated routes and schedules accurately, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Maintain a professional appearance and respectful demeanor at all times, representing the company with dignity.
- Assist with other duties as needed to support funeral home operations, such as setting up and taking down floral arrangements, directing visitors, or assisting with funeral viewings.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to operate large vehicles safely and smoothly.
- Excellent sense of direction and ability to navigate efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Impeccable punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds (e.g., floral arrangements, luggage).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in professional driving roles (e.g., chauffeur, bus driver, delivery driver).
- Familiarity with the Aurora and greater Denver metropolitan area.
- Prior experience in the funeral or hospitality industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
