Job Description
As a Google Documentation Clerk with an Engineering focus at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing our engineering documentation using Google Workspace tools and best practices. This 100% remote position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of documentation principles, and the ability to work collaboratively within an engineering-driven environment. You will support our engineering teams by ensuring that critical project documents, technical specifications, and procedural guides are accurate, accessible, and compliant with internal standards and Google’s documentation philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, categorize, and archive engineering documentation using Google Drive, Google Docs, and other Google Workspace applications.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to established formatting, version control, and naming conventions.
- Assist engineering teams in creating, reviewing, and updating technical documents, manuals, and project reports.
- Manage document access permissions and ensure data security protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation to identify and rectify discrepancies or outdated information.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand documentation needs and streamline workflows.
- Provide support and training to team members on documentation best practices and Google Workspace tools.
Required Skills
