Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Google Information Specialist with a strong focus on Digital Data to join our dynamic team. This is a crucial role for an individual passionate about data integrity, digital information management, and leveraging Google’s suite of tools to drive actionable insights. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and utility of digital data across various platforms, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Work From Home (WFH) role, strong self-motivation and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain digital data within Google's ecosystem (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Cloud Platform)
- Implement and monitor data tracking solutions to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant insights
- Stay updated with Google's evolving data policies, tools, and best practices
- Assist in the development and optimization of data collection strategies
- Provide training and support to team members on Google data tools and best practices
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4 experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of digital data principles and data management best practices
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Analytics certification
- Experience with SQL or other data querying languages
- Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to data analysis
- Previous experience in a consulting or agency environment
