Job Description
Join our dedicated team at CVS Pharmacy as an In-Store Pharmacy Technician for part-time evening shifts. You will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment, including receiving, processing, and dispensing medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and processing returns.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering patient questions and directing them to appropriate resources.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash register transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support the pharmacist in daily operations and administrative tasks.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Pharmacy Technician License/Registration in California.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to work evening shifts consistently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems (e.g., RxConnect).
- Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Strong organizational skills.
