Truist Bank is seeking a meticulous and reliable Junior Vault Assistant to join our team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. As a Junior Vault Assistant, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our branch vault, ensuring the precise handling and accounting of cash and other valuable assets. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the accurate receipt, verification, and disbursement of cash from various sources.
  • Maintain precise records of all vault transactions, ensuring strict adherence to bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular vault audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare cash shipments for armored car services and process incoming deliveries.
  • Operate and maintain vault equipment, including cash counters and coin sorters.
  • Ensure the physical security of the vault area at all times.
  • Assist in end-of-day balancing procedures and reporting.
  • Collaborate with branch staff to support daily operational needs and customer service.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy bags of coin and cash (up to 25 lbs).
