Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in Wakefield for an immediate start. This full-time position is crucial to the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Clean dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking equipment efficiently using dishwashers or by hand to maintain impeccable hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas throughout the shift.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required, such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Empty bins and manage waste according to company procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock and organized storage.
- Support the kitchen team in all aspects of daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies at all times.
