Job Description
Are you passionate about luxury cars and eager to learn the meticulous craft of automotive detailing? Park Avenue Exotics Detailing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Luxury Car Detailer Trainee to join our elite team. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity to work hands-on with some of the world’s most coveted supercars and exotic vehicles, learning from industry experts. We’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine desire to master advanced detailing techniques. No prior professional experience is required; we provide comprehensive training and mentorship to transform you into a skilled luxury car detailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of luxury car detailing, including exterior, interior, engine bay, and wheel care.
- Assist senior detailers in preparing vehicles for delivery, ensuring every surface meets our exacting standards.
- Learn and practice safe and effective washing, decontamination, polishing, waxing, and ceramic coating application techniques.
- Perform meticulous interior cleaning, vacuuming, steam cleaning, and conditioning of high-end materials like leather and Alcantara.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Handle client vehicles with utmost care and respect, ensuring their protection throughout the detailing process.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on the latest detailing tools and techniques.
- Support the team in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation of the detailing studio.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for perfection.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude towards learning.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (to move vehicles on-site).
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- A demonstrable passion for cars, especially luxury and exotic vehicles.
- Basic knowledge or prior experience with car cleaning/maintenance (personal or informal).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
