Job Description
Walmart Global Tech is seeking a highly meticulous Metadata Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. This fully remote position is dedicated exclusively to text-based data entry and comprehensive metadata management, requiring no direct phone interaction. The ideal candidate will possess an unwavering commitment to accuracy, exceptional organizational capabilities, and a deep appreciation for data integrity. You will be instrumental in maintaining the quality, consistency, and discoverability of our vast digital assets and product information across various internal and customer-facing platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain metadata for digital assets, product listings, and diverse data sets.
- Ensure strict data consistency and adherence to established naming conventions, data schemas, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular and thorough quality checks on entered data to proactively identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (primarily via text-based communication channels) to resolve complex data issues and continuously improve data quality processes.
- Efficiently manage and organize large volumes of information, ensuring accessibility and retrievability.
- Contribute to the ongoing development, refinement, and documentation of metadata guidelines and best practices.
- Utilize various internal tools, content management systems (CMS), and product information management (PIM) platforms for data entry and content administration.
