Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Microsoft Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our legal teams, with a particular emphasis on utilizing Microsoft suite products for efficient workflow. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of secure remote work balanced with essential in-office presence to foster team collaboration and access firm resources. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys, managing documents, and ensuring smooth operation of daily legal activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings (virtual and in-person).
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, email, and phone communications with professionalism and discretion.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
- Assist with legal research tasks, case management, and e-filing procedures.
- Process expense reports, time entries, and coordinate billing activities.
- Facilitate secure remote work setups and troubleshoot basic technical issues related to Microsoft platforms.
- Provide exceptional client service and support to attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
