Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Remote Digital Illustrator / Artist to join our growing creative team on a commission-based, work-from-home basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an artist with a strong portfolio to contribute to world-renowned animated series and digital content. You will be responsible for creating captivating digital illustrations, characters, backgrounds, and assets that align with our brand’s unique style and vision. This role is 100% remote, offering significant flexibility and creative autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality digital illustrations and artwork for various projects, including character design, background art, storyboards, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors and animators to ensure artistic consistency and adherence to project briefs.
- Interpret conceptual ideas and translate them into compelling visual designs.
- Manage multiple illustration assignments concurrently, meeting deadlines and delivering assets on time.
- Incorporate feedback effectively and iterate on designs as needed.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current digital art trends and software techniques.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard digital art software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, anatomy, and perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to various art styles and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing relevant digital illustration work.
- Self-motivated and able to manage workload effectively to meet commission deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience working in animation, gaming, or children's media.
- Familiarity with 2D animation principles and asset preparation.
- Ability to create both stylized and realistic artwork.
- Experience with project management tools for remote collaboration.
